Roxanne Delage writes: Formerly of the famed Montréal band “Me Mom and Morgentaler,” Matt Lipscombe’s first solo release, “Folk Tales”—with a cool photograph of Lipscombe on the sleeve—is a slick collection of folk inspired songs with an adult contemporary pop/rock flavour. I’m sure we’ll be hearing more about this CD as many of the tracks are quite radio worthy—perfect for any mood.
